We simply can’t ignore the importance of strict security protocols where young children are concerned. FIO360 is dedicated to securing a safe and peaceful atmosphere for children, parents and staff. Our extensive security plan includes security cameras at every entrance that will allow all our staff to constantly monitor traffic. All doors leading to lobbies with an elevator will be monitored by our staff as well as require an access card. No one will have access to the floors where children are present without an access card and staff clearance. FIO360 is designing a security system that will utilize technology as well as incorporate physical monitoring.
Safe, Shoeless Environment
Children of all ages love to spend time playing on the floor so to ensure their health and safety FIO360 will provide children and staff with FIO-Slippers to wear throughout the facility. FIO360 understands that playtime on the floors is a core part of each child’s discovery experience. Shoes track dirt, germs and oils onto the floors, and can create loud, intimidating noises. By asking staff, parents and children to remove their shoes, wear our FIO-slippers or use shoe covers over their shoes, we can keep the floors clean and safe for children to crawl, walk, run and play.
Soothing, Stimulating Décor
A fun children’s environment does not necessitate overwhelming colors, conflicting scents and sensory overload. That’s why, from the moment they enter the FIO360 lobby, parents, children and staff will experience a dynamic blend of serene colors, natural materials, relaxing sounds and calming scents that, when combined, will create a stimulating environment to maximize learning and play.
The moment a child approaches FIO360, it will be clear (even to a two year old) that this place was built just for them! Our Children’s Reception area will welcome them before they are received to the rooms where they will learn and play. We will providing comfortable seating and furniture that is just their size, and every classroom where children will spend their days will feature a custom-made children’s door, in addition to a door for adults.
Mind-Stimulating Active Arts
FIO360 will also feature a dedicated activity room that will host classes and activities for children, parents and staff. It is an important component of our mission to inspire children to be their healthiest, physical best through activities like yoga, gymnastics, karate and ballet. We are also committed to the community and will strive to become an asset by hosting parenting workshops for everyone who wishes “to become” a more informed parent. The activity room will also be used for training early childhood educators.
Magical Urban Playscape—A Dynamic Rooftop Playground
Located on the rooftop, the FIO360 Magical Urban Playscape will present an enchanting space for children to play, wonder and create. Today’s best outdoor play spaces for children invite open-ended play and discovery in natural environments. Play in these spaces engage the whole child—employing large and small motor skills, appealing to the five senses and fostering cognitive development, social interactions and creativity.
The Magical Urban Playscape will feature a playground like none other—a getaway where children can expand their horizons as far as their imaginations will allow. With a protected rooftop setting (enclosed by an 8-foot fence) that allows children to view the wonder of the city of Atlanta, this dynamic playground will also feature various age-appropriate play stations and gardens where children can escape to a world of excitement and exploration.
Imagine textured pathways leading to herbs, shrubs and flowers grown in stone containers clustered around natural log benches and play structures. Children work collaboratively to hoist a bucket of sand—the mysteries of rope and pulley revealed. This is the magic of childhood!
